Q. Before my amputation, I was a pretty active person! Now I feel like my prosthesis is holding me back. Do you have any suggestions?

Q. It sounds like there may be some advantages to the Ertl bone bridge, but I can't find a physician in my area that knows about the surgery. Do you have any suggestions?

Q. I have read about the Ertl and heard it may be something to consider, but I've never really met anyone that actually has a bone bridge. I sure would like to talk to someone that has had this procedure done. How do I find such a person?
A. Most people who have had an Ertl bone bridge become passionate about sharing their good fortune. Q. I have a friend that is having a terrible time with their prosthesis. Their biggest problem is they don't have any insurance to pay for a new one. Can you help?
A. Well, maybe we can! Not everyone can afford to have the most expensive prosthesis, but it is our opinion, every amputee should have options to obtain a comfortable, functional prosthesis. If you, or someone you know, needs a prosthesis but feels they can not afford one because of their lack of insurance, we would be glad to discuss some possible options that may help.
